This software did not survive more than 10 minutes on my PC (plain Win XP Pro SP 2). The installer wants you to also install SystemGuard (announced as a cleaner/optimizer/security tool). If you deselect the SystemGuard installation you get a warning that some of the features of the Icon Editor will be disabled (how kind...). When finished, the installer wants a reboot of the PC (an icon editor needs that??). Finally, when I started the application after the reboot it simply came up with an error that a splash screen OCX was missing or incorrectly registered (it turned out to be missing). Result: checked malware info sites to make sure I hadn't loaded something nasty, then kicked the thing off the PC. I guess there are plenty of good icon editors around, so don't waste your time on this one.
